For diabetes and hypoglycemia: what is the difference between the glycemic index vx. glycemic load of foods?

I studied a low glycemic index carbohydrate foods that implements slowly find. I'm not diabetic, but I know I can hypoglycemia diabetes. Now I am confused by the conflicting information I received about the glycemic index is not a true indication of how our blood sugar reacts to carbohydrates. For example, carrots probably has a higher GI than most vegetables, but react differently in our blood than the same amount of carbohydrates from refined bread and sugar would. All information will be appreciated. By the way, hypoglycemia is not a problem for me, because I rarely see me avoiding sugary foods for years. The amount of fiber in the diet reduces RHE absorptions of food and lower GI than other foods with the same amount of carbohydrates and less fiber. I eat granary bread, basmatti rice, whole grains and Whole wheat pasta at my low GI Garber. Vegetables do not worry, I as much as I like pulses are also low GI so add the beans and chile. salads, casseroles, etc. Just keep in refined foods (white flour and sugar) to a mimimum and consumption of fat as fat interferes with the way the body uses insulin. good books have information on this area .

Can a diabetic eat hot dogs? Dont eat them all the time. Just every not and then?

I love sausage, but I'd like one from time to time. I'm not taking any medication just to watch my weight and avoid sugary foods. It's not a machine or something. All is well of course you can, but dogs are high in fat, and if you say you do not check the levels of sugar in the blood when fat is metabolized can later make sugar. Hot dogs also added nitrates that are related to the risk of cancer. So gourmet hot dogs without nitrates and should be good. Heinz ketchup syrup fructose corn for it, then try mustard instead and I think it will be fine. I like sausages too. Of course they are right. In addition to carbohydrates of bread, a large amount of salts such as nitrates and nitrites, protein and fat in processed meats. I lost 45 pounds eating things like hot dogs with mustard, pickles and onion, but without the bread! Sure! From time to time is good. As someone said, the fat in hot dog carbohydrates in bread and spices metabolized slower, so if you have a fatty meal Carby, you want to check your BG a few hours later, do something does not mean that if you are on insulin or a pump so if you can extend a portion of the bolus to be longer. Another option is to drop bread or just eat half the sandwich. I gradually reduced my food intake over the past few months and I rarely miss even buns and bread now - it's flesh and the things I like. I thought "protein style" of things and it works fine, although you need a knife and fork! You may very well eat what you want, in moderation, and the amounts of each type of food (proteins, lipids, carbohydrates) in equilibrium. I just had a hot dog for lunch today. We are "Baseball Day" at work in honor of the Cardinals. You can check out the kosher hot dogs, although they cost slightly more. Like Hebrew National, because they know very well, and the treatment is very pure, of course, is fine in moderation, but it depends on your overall health. if you have complications, so it is recommended to reduce fat intake. machine control of blood can also be purchased in pharmacies and suggested me one.even purchase if it is in use for a couple of weeks you need to learn what the different foods in your body and see what foods to eat to keep your GT in the range of course! Hot dogs are not healthy, then I would have in moderation, but are 0 carbs. Have fun!.

Need some help coming up with a diabetic meal plan for a day/week/month.?

With food, so much that a diabetic should avoid, how I can spend days or weeks or months without risking my blood sugar? Can anyone recommend a good food for diabetics or activities to continue? I mean just think about it seems so difficult to handle. I can not imagine how someone who is not diabetic, capable of maintaining a healthy weight with a kind of diabetic diet. Ask your doctor for this information. He / she is obliged to fly for you. Otherwise, visit the American Diabetes Association Web site where you can get all kinds of useful information. Good luck! If you type 1 or 2? Not much difference. Personally, I just try to eat healthy. There really is not much food to avoid, in all honesty. N. soda total sugar, no fried foods, candy, etc. Keep an eye on the carbohydrates, but not cut completely. Dp not a diet, because then I feel bad if I want instead of curry pastes, etc. Talk to a dietitian about healthy alternatives to your favorite foods and enjoy the occasion. You really can not avoid food. What you should know is moderation. You can still enjoy ice cream, cake and sweat more in moderation. As for your regular meals, I'd like lots of vegetables you eat may eat fruit, but to adjust the size, because the fruit has around 15 carbs per serving. protein-rich foods like chicken, beef, ham, etc. have very little carbohydrate per serving. When it comes to bread, pasta and here is what we eat in our house. They are low in carbohydrates, and just as good as low-carb options that are not: 1 Dream campaign pasta has only 5 grams of digestible carbohydrates. and it tastes better than regular pasta. This is not a wheat pasta, white pasta! 2. Bread we buy bread or lite I found no bread wheat options Hofer lowest in carbohydrates. Be sure to read labels. Some give you the nutrition label on a disc that is about two based. Hofer free for two discs are about 20 carbs, not bad, but a bit of bread is about 13 carbs for 2 slices. 3rd I use for taco's Mission brand "Carb Balance," only 7 carbs! Good stuff! I'm sure they would be a great wrap instead of making a sandwich. 4th We love PB and J sandwich in our house. I use Smucker low sugar jelly. It has only 5 grams of carbs and better taste than the artificial stuff sweatened. 5th Maple syrup, we use the Cary, but I have just recently released the Maple Grove Sugar bought because I could not get Cary's and it was good. I think they are the only "special" things I buy. The rest of it is, I compare labels and look for the cheapest carb. I try to cook with lots of vegetables and if possible, to make home-made stuff and stay away from processed products. I make my own Sloppy Joe's and Taco mix. I have two great cookbooks accept that they have many great diabetic recipes from the bookstore. Good article here: http://www.targetwoman.com/articles/gall-bladder-diet.html If she has pain from gall bladder, it has to have it removed if she wants to maintain a quality of life. pain of the gallbladder can excrusiating. Fried foods are patients with gall bladder problems or bad without a gall bladder. Fats, etc. No tomatoes or things that can cause gas, such as broccoli or cauliflower. They should also avoid spicy foods. That's what my doctors have told me before I had removed. I'm sorry he can not work. It's not fun to have gall bladder problems. It should be on a diet food. My best wishes to you and for her! :) Your mom has many serious diseases, you should seek wwwwebmd.com, instead of helping with all its conditions on fatty foods, acids, etc, anything with corn flour and high (tomatoes, oranges) should be avoided . Physicians should have a list of foods to avoid for your mom. Your mother should avoid fats as much as possible, because the gallbladder secretes bile, which helps break down fats. is less than your body needs bile, at least, is the pain. So you have to read labels and watch what you eat fat. It is measured in grams. To find out how many grams you can tolerate may take a little time, because each situation is different. I think it would try to eat maybe10 grams of fat, if it were me, and work from there, if you can not eat as much without pain, nausea and vomiting, and / or diarrhea, then you can go one step at a time, but not more than one program at once. If she can not tolerate, to work until they can manage it I do not know your mother, of course, but controlled diabetes and high blood pressure is under control, not necessarily something that would be a dangerous operation. Much will depend on how healthy she is different - the heart, lungs, kidneys, liver. By the way, many people with diabetes also have high cholesterol, so a low fat diet could help with that too. Good luck to you both. Although most of the responses so far an appropriate recommendation for gallbladder problems, there is still a neglected condition. You also said that they have diabetes. Both factors exasperates for nutritional use other people's problems. The physician will have your mom nutritional suggestions, or you can refer to a registered dietitian. Professional dietitian can have all these factors and create a diet that is both nutritional and appealing. I wish you the best. God bless.

Foods for a Cancer patient and diabetic person?

My grandfather, the old has stomach cancer and diabetes. I want to know what he can eat and what to avoid those things that I can help him. He loses weight, there are foods that I can give him to act against it? Please help me, is how far his cancer? I guess he is very ill? could clarify the nurses and doctors have food, I do not think it matters what he's like a cancer that he lose weight and no matter what he eats, he claims weight gain is to eat. Make sure he does not eat too many carbohydrates to keep (bread, cakes, etc.) and sugar in diabetic level. When my father was 76 and died of stomach cancer, he ate hardly anything, and he was a diabetic, it was only 6 weeks of an illness until he died. Evolve Health Water helps really good. More than just water product. Believe me when I say that this product has helped my grandmother with her breast cancer and my own mother with her diabetes. what should diabetic eat and not eat?

do u know ant sites that tell you what to eat and avoid foods? Your request for my mother, if you are diabetic and has been diagnosed as such, the doctor always recommends a consultation with a nutritionist who will give you all this information. You can also visit the American Diabetes Association, or you can google the diabetic diet. Diabetics should avoid sugar and eat carohydrates fat.they should eat vegetables and meat, chicken, fish. I worked for a chain of large pizza and had a diabetic in a custoner. He calls this cheese, pasta, meat and extra vegetables Lliteras. So we can safely assume that you can not eat carbs a lot, but you can have some. From what I know (I'm hypoglycemic) less carbohydrates, more meat and vegetables as the South Beach Diet. Mass without much meat makes me, or just too tired. This depends largely on how you are controlling your blood sugar in the blood. People who need insulin after a routine food than those who take the pill. In addition, there are different types of insulin, which also depends on when you eat and what your mother should obtain this information from your endocrinologist. For more information, you must make an appointment with a dietitian to help you understand your dietary restrictions (if any) .

Any body explain about diabetic patient food schedule from morning to night?

my post is to explore what his blood 194.and eat and what to avoid? what is the fruit must be worn. Each person is different. No two people in the same system requirements. Work with your endocrinologist and nutritionist on how carbohydrates. The best thing I did was my doctor to refer me to diabetic education classes. I learned to eat as many carbs per meal and eat as many meals a day. You must pay dietitians and diabetes educators in those classes, and most insurance companies wil be that if the doctor says. I lost 116 pounds after these classes, and have not won a total of 9 years.

Treatment for passing out due to hypoglycemia?

I've been experiencing very frequent episodes of hypoglycemia in the last month. I'm not diabetic. Went to the doctor on several occasions, and I'm going to see a specialist next week because my doctor thinks it may have an insulinoma. All my doctor told me to do now is to avoid foods high in sugar and eat small frequent meals and snacks. I have very confused on several occasions, but the problems went away when I ate some chocolate, and then had a snack. Today I was home alone all day and I started to feel my blood sugar was falling, but instead of eating sweets first, I had popcorn. I fainted and woke up about an hour and a half later with a bad headache. I got up and almost fell on the road to get something to eat. Several hours later, still I have a headache, but I'm able to walk and run without any problems. Is there something I'm doing tonight and what do I do if it happens again? According to Wikipedia:. What kind of foods can I eat if I'm pre-diabetic?

I am a pre-diabetes. I'm not on medication for it. I was told to increase my awareness and watch what I eat. What foods should I buy? What should I avoid? Can this be reversed? Avoid bad carbs and processed foods and sugar. Eat whole grains, high in fiber and high in protein. These things can help tremendously. I recommend that you get the book as "insulin resistance diet". He talks about the connection of your protein with carbohydrates and how it helps. It has diagrams, lots of info and recipes. It is really good! Good luck! Health food store to try some sugar sweeter, a way to keep fat fried black bread to eat for breakfast weetbix Some say yes and others say, no one doctor says no, it will certainly vice versa. There are several good diet plans that work and actually reverse diabetes. What you do depends on hard you are. The program is the most extreme totally raw vegan diet. Dr. Gabriel Cousins, "30-Day Raw". That is too radical for me but at least you can see You can google "raw food trucks Dave." Lost over 100 pounds, lost his diabetes and kidney disease and colon cancer. This is also too extreme for me. The best I've seen are the nutrients for energy density program by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. The second link is a six-minute video that has a list of about 100 common foods, sorted by the number of nutrients per 100 calories a serving. You can have a very good idea of what foods should make up the bulk of the diet and foods to avoid. Are you familiar with stevia? Stevia is a natural sweetener that comes from the leaves of a South American plant, now cultivated worldwide. Dr. Michael Dan Inger MD, medical adviser of "The Biggest Loser" television program, wrote an article about stevia. I spent a lot of unsweetened coconut. High fiber, low carbohydrate availability, and good taste. How to avoid becoming diabetic?

Is there a list of good foods to eat bad food if you are close to the diabetic. Good food: Any food not a fast food restaurant, or too high in fat and calories. Bad food: Fast food with high fat and high sugar content. It really is that simple. Food after the food pyramid (the new) and eating too quickly as possible and find you can eat everything in moderation, and that your blood sugar control easier. Under the new food pyramid, the majority of your diet vegetables, whole grains and is followed by carbohyrdrates complex. You must also ensure that you train every day. Foods to avoid are anything that is food rich in carbohydrates, white bread, rice, potatoes and cake flour. Food is to eat lean meat, eggs, vegetables, fruit and fish. Treatment is much worse. A good book is "carbs from heaven, carbs from hell" the only sure way to prevent diabetes is really getting very good grandparents.: :-) There are no set rules, only low carb foods fresh and common sense no magic formula, sorry. Type 1 diabetes is hereditary. You really can not avoid if you aim to get the disease. As with Type-2, which is a great site with prevention and care tips for diabetics: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/diabetes-prevention/DA00127 Hope this answers your question!.

I am pre-diabetic. What kind of diet and nutrician program do I need to follow in order to avoid diabetes?

I have to avoid sugar completely? What are some special foods that work on my diet again? Any additional information about living with and dealing with pre-diabetes would be appreciated? I would suggest to do it, yes. Sugar is a taboo when you have pre-diabetes. I recommend cutting out all "white" foods, ie white rice, white bread, potatoes and corn. Switch to brown rice (which is very tasty), wheat or multigrain bread. Stay away from soda and drink lots of water. It would not hurt to incorporate exercise into daily life. It would be a good idea to limit your intake of sugar does not cut through. If your power to cut through! I know that I could! Make sure plenty of excersize every day and drink water! I'm pre-diabetic since I was pregnant with my second child. I have to lose some weight would be helpful! A diabetic diet is that I'm in carbohydrates than men say basicly.not Atkins. If low as they are allowed up to five exchanges of carbohydrate per 4.Women meal.preferable fits 3.f 4.preferable exchange for three meals a dayso of 15 men max 12 women max. I would like to know, what is best way to keep sugar low for a person with gestational diabetic?

We are at the last stage of pregnancy and bourgeois (vegetarian tian), the fight against gestational diabetes. What is good food to take and what foods should be avoided, so we can keep both mom and baby healthy. Thanks for your response, will help any transfer to a good knowledge. Rich in protein, carbohydrate not say no pasta, rice, cereal or bread. Retain sodium and vegetables with plenty of fruit with sugar and starch. No fruit or vegetables! It has its proteins with carbohydrates and balance, as PP said, stay away from high sugar fruits and vegetables like bananas, maize and beans. Your OB should be able to give her a diet to follow. My OB sent me to a diabetes educator who has been diagnosed with gestational diabetes.

What kind of foods are right for gestational diabetic patient?

I tested positive for having gestational diabetes diabeties and I am 31 weeks pregnant. What kind of food (food) is right for me at this stage to avoid complications? I have a meeting with school planners. Whole grains, light on fruit and sugar and starches, vegetables and much more! to follow strict diet plan to the scheduler. In general, eating small amounts of carbohydrates during the day, not a large meal. Anything that is sugar free, low carb (carbohydrate Croker with sugar) water, be careful with fruits because they contain natural sucking. Things such as fish, chicken (not fried), water, diet sodas, vegetables are a good start, also remember you diabetic chocolate and cookies in your supermarket to get, I would say that you start with lots of green leafy vegetables such as food and fresh cooked kale, watercress, spinach, cabbage, green peas, green vegetables, drink soy milk, eating tomatoes and other fruits and try some walnuts. What should be done to the nutritionist and dietician agreement here is the rest downWhen dietitian meets he / she will test your blood more likely that when you see him / her. Then do some math on your weight before pregnancy and how much they weigh now. It will be said on the basis of information and as you can and can not eat. I just found out that I have the same and I have 33 weeks of pregnancy. I have not gained a single pound since I got pregnant, so they put me on a day with three meals and two snacks in between I have to watch my intake of carbohydrates. You'll have to go through a change in lifestyle to help you and your child. Well Iam still in 40g and 15g of carbohydrates per meal just for appetizers. In the morning, so do not hunger to eat an egg (protien) 2 slices of Canadian bacon, 1 slice of toast and butter and not a package of instant oatmeal (apple cinnamon) with 2 tablespoons milk. Usually leaves me satisfied until lunch is all that is equivalent to 38g of carbohydrates. For lunch I like 1/4th of a frozen pizza with a diet drink 26g of carbohydrates is more than half of a naval orange. really depends on what your nutritionist will tell you. You should read all the lables now. I watch my intake of carbohydrates and read labels. I lost 8 pounds in 2.5 weeks on this diet, which is normal and my son is fine. Still a little overweight (percentile 95), but okay. I eat a sensible dinner and 1/4th cup of granola before goto bed. So good luck, hope this helped a little. Stay away from juice, fruit and excersice a lot better. Good luck dietitian put on a calorie diet, depending on the amount of weight you need to get started. They put on a diet of 1,200 calories and give you a sheet to plan meals and that sort of thing. It's easy, provided you follow the diet of proof "and completely restrict carbohydrates and sugar. Usually leaves me satisfied until lunch is all that is equivalent to 38g of carbohydrates. Try to stay away from most sugury foods that might differences this time, the time or carbohydrates spelda dont matter until you have diabetes, but helping them things with low carbs and not much sugar much I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant. This is the type of diabetes you get only if you are pregnant. Even if you are not in danger for what it taught me a lot of good experiences. When you had enough carbohydrates DG untwisted exercise your pancreas and spacing them in a way that makes your insulin work more efficiently. So what they did, I was on a diet where I would count my carbs and get it distributed evenly throughout the day. I'll start the day with a lot of protein and 15 grams of carbohydrates that have more protein, so do not starve, carbohydrates and only 15 will break the fast slowly and not make your sugar rush blood. Then two hours later, I wanted 1:15 carbohydrate snacks. Then two hours later, I wanted 1:30 carbohydrate meal. How many grams of sugar is safe for a Type 2 diabetic?

I want an adult friend who has type 2 diabetes to help eat it. He has read the nutrition facts and avoid foods that contain more than 2 grams of sugar per serving. How many grams of sugar, a diabetic eat? Of course the best thing that he does not use sugar at all, but tell the most amount of sugar type 2 diabetes is allowed to consume. every diabetic should always stay away from high-calorie foods high fat foods such as pizza and KFC. Now the answer to your question is no. Whether type 1 or 2, you should never eat sugar, or you will die. I'm lucky. Diabetes is a serious illness that western medicine, but you can try TCM, this is a website: http://www.diabeat.cc Sugar can not be avoided in the food we eat because there are so many types of sugar, but they should count as carbs, carbs. That turns into glucose, causing blood sugar to rise and remain high for some time, the amount of carbohydrates. a person eats in a given day really depends on the individual, an endocrinologist may be your friend with this help, or just go by trial and error. David: I would Chadmg correctly. Things are so much easier to be. Unfortunately it is not. More annoying, yes. But simpler and easier. Now I am personally grateful that he's like that (do not get me wrong). It's just that there ar so many people in this wotld who could benefit from this than the opposite. If you completely destroy your intake of sugars friends, his blood sugar level in blood drops to 0 and you die. So you must eat the right amount of carbohydrates (sugar - more or less complicated) to receive for your body, without use of his blood. Even with high performance, high-glycemic foods such as chocolate milk does not cost a place in the life of a diabetic patient in controlled quantities and in very specific circumstances Say what? What food should I avoid as a diabetic, in order to keep my blood sugars down?

I try to diabetics to control my blood sugar in the blood bolld with food and nutrition. Foods that are rich in sugar as glucose or salty foods. Stay away from potatoes and pasta. These are foods that much strength in them and the forces of sugar. Stay away more of your candy and cakes and pies if they are sugar free. Drink diet soda. You do not have a place to stay away from his sugar together, as some foods that are natural sugars in them. I hope so. Foods with a high glycemic index. The more sugar (natural or not), processed wheat flour, processed foods you eat, and starches such as potatoes and maize meal, the worse your blood sugar. Eat protein as meat, eggs, cheese, cottage cheese, nuts and vegetables and fruits that are lower in sugar (raisins vs apples, for example). Do you have a "carb" limit per meal? Ask your doctor or nutritionist.i If you are overweight, check out 60 grams of carbohydrates per meal, you must read labels and get a chart (you take into account the total amount of carbs) I hope this helps. You should stop eating food and sweets, the only time you eat if you feel your blood sugar is low, and junk food. I am diabetic also. Avoid sugar. Soft drinks, juices are not good. Sure, some of them drink. Even bread, starch, and watch the fat intake, because it makes it harder for the body to absorb insulin. Whole grain products, leafy greens, colorful vegetables are good. I just try to sugar, avoid fried foods, eat plenty of bread and potatoes. If you exercise and watch your weight will be high in sugar levels to help. I am also a diabetic, the majority of hospitals (and most insurance companies pay) a program diabetes education. In short, they will coach you on how best to monitor. I said I can have almost everything you eat what I want to see the total carbohydrate intake during the day and the intake of carbohydrates spread fairly evenly throughout the day My diet allows a maximum of six servings of carbohydrate each meal and up to 20 per day (15 grams of carbohydrates a plate). You need to talk to a doctor or dietitian for the recommended level. You must be very well to read food labels and portion sizes. - Good luck to keep blood sugar under control, no need to panic to see a doctor. No allopathic drugs available to cure diabetes, the condition of the people, but the disease will be controlled to certain levels. The disease develops due to eating disorders and heredity. First, I have never accepted diabetes as disease but considered it a disorder. what are the foods to avoid and to acept diabetics?

My husband is a diabetic and I have concerns about their sugar problems. I want to know what are the foods he should eat and what not to eat? Avoid eating. u do not mention the problem he is diabetics. even then u should avoid junk food, sweets, fatty foods, avoid potatoes (starchy foods). eat green vegetables, certain fibers bring food. Hope my suggestions are not good at all, from two problems. Sugar seems to be the main problem. Although not let your man be deceived and to avoid sugar, but load up on carbohydrates. High carb foods turn into sugar, making them as bad. My dad and husband both have diabetes. Things such as beating them in a negative way, are things like fresh fruit (natural sugar), corn, white bread, pasta, ice cream and french fries. Get your eating lots of vegetables, except corn, rye or whole wheat bread, very good, whole grain pasta. Also very important is to not skip meals. It is important that blood glucose levels remain so in order to skip a meal and then reload the excerise dinner will increase the sugar content is very important. My husband is about 5-7 miles per day (job) and he can process it ended well, without medication. If he smokes, please, try to get him to stop. Smoking and diabetes will dramatically increase their risk of heart disease. My dad smokes and has diabetes 32 years. He is now suffering great pain, because the veins of the legs are hidden. He will eventually be in a wheelchair because he can not at all to go. When the veins collapse, contrary to what doctors could say you.it is irreversible. Foods to avoid or refined and added sugars and high in carbohydrates .

what foods do I avoid because I have no gallbladder? Am diabetic and suffer from diverticular disease.?

Learned the hard way to avoid cream! "M still suffering, and the use of antibiotics for the infection in my gut. I'm pretty active, clean my house per 5 day week. Fat should be fat, raw fruits and vegetables are not included. You should have the same type of diet that was before the surgery would continue to be a mild high-fat diet. Eat a low-cholesterol, low fat diet. This kind of diet includes cottage cheese, fat-free milk, fish (not in oil), vegetables, poultry, protein and polyunsaturated oils and margarines (corn, canola and soybean oil ). Avoid foods with excess fat in them such as meat (especially liver and fatty meat), egg yolks, whole milk, cream, butter, grease, lard, biscuits, cakes, biscuits, juice, peanut butter, chocolate, olives, potato chips, coconut, cheese (except cottage cheese), coconut oil, palm oil and fried foods. Gee I Feel For You, but you should discuss with your doctor your problem and your diabetes problems others do not see any dietary restrictions to the extent that the lack of gall bladder problems in diabetes need to avoid sweets and sugar. No organ meat, a little red meat, chicken. Fish as u can, but obviously you are too overweight wanted. To take high fiber diet high diverticulosis is good for diabetics, but start-fiber diet, if only a portion of diverticular disease was controlled completely infectious. You should consult your doctor about this when he / she can better advise. I had my gall bladder in 1994. I found that I should avoid fried and fatty foods, chocolate, and all the good fat in itself. These things make me sicker so .

Diabetic Foods?

I wonder what kind of food would eat a diabetic? I'm new in the diabetic thing, and I was not sure what they eat and what to avoid (including snacks other than the main meal). I know I have no chocolate (this is because in small doses or sugar-free candies in a period of several days) and I know I have diet sodas. Does anyone know what the food would be nice to have (or the food I really eat all meals during the day)? Diabetes and GI factor Source: University of Sydney, April 2003 The challenge for researchers in Australia have been 520,000 people diagnosed with diabetes and it is expected that 1.7 million people to reach by 2010. Among the developed countries, Australia has one of the highest rates of diabetes and a diagnosis for each person with diabetes is estimated that there is another person with undiagnosed diabetes. transported in healthy people, makes the hormone insulin, glucose and other nutrients from the blood to muscles and tissues in people with diabetes causes, inadequate levels of insulin or ineffective insulin action, glucose levels and side effects in most tissues increases. Diabetes can cause vision problems, kidney function, nerve and circulatory. A healthy diet has been an important part of managing the disease. Group foods primarily responsible for the rise and fall of blood sugar after a meal, carbohydrates are known. The glycemic index (GI) provides a ranking of how quickly carbohydrates are broken down by the body in the diet, compared with pure glucose, which has a rating of 100%. When carbohydrates break down quickly, releasing high levels of glucose in the blood very quickly after a meal. Such foods have a high GI (a rating of 70% or more), such as white bread, potatoes, cereals and white rice alternative carbohydrate foods that slowly breaks contain, releasing glucose gradually into the blood, has a low glycemic index (a score of 55% or less). Examples of low GI foods, mostly fruits, oatmeal, pasta and noodles, basmati rice and pulses. Medium GI foods have a rating of between 56 and 69%. The challenge is to test the GI of many foods as possible to determine how the GI can be used to optimize a diet to control diabetes. The research hypothesis The hypothesis of this research is that a diet consisting of low GI foods will better control of blood sugar in diabetic patients. The goal is to evaluate the effect of a wide range of foods on blood sugar tests in a group of people with and without diabetes, and the concept of classifying carbohydrates based on their GI development. What are some foods to avoid if I am diabetic?

Array Stay away from white rice. Try brown rice instead. I suggest you keep your carbs to less than 9 grams per hour. This will check your blood sugar and insulin, and how they managed to pre-diabetes medicines. Simple carbohydrates (sugar, flour, bread, cereals, pasta, potatoes, rice) the release of insulin, which can save the calories you eat into fat. The more you eat protein hormone glucagon increased burning of fat is released. The more carbohydrates you eat more of the hormone insulin is released from fat storage. High insulin levels promote inflammation, weight gain, hunger and other hormonal imbalances. Controlling insulin levels is going to balance hormones and human growth hormone (HGH) is produced naturally, you will gain muscle mass, even without exercise. Any exercise will increase your muscle mass, with high levels of HGH. Do not use normal sugar, use Splenda instead of sugar candy or gum
